Rehabilitation Counseling

Rehabilitation Counseling is a program established by the federal government more than 125 years ago. This initiative is among the services provided by The Radical Acceptance Healing House project, which emphasizes a short-term, solution-oriented approach.

 RAHH will implement a comprehensive strategy utilizing various evidence-based methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused strategic planning. Recognizing the uniqueness of each client, RAHH will develop customized action plans. Ongoing assessments will be conducted to adapt to the evolving needs of clients throughout their participation in the program.

 RAHH offers a crucial resource by providing 10 to 12 beds for eligible individuals seeking shelter and support. This limited availability plays a significant role in determining the chances of success for those in need. When individuals have access to a safe and stable environment, it can greatly enhance their ability to focus on recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration into society. 

It's really important to have someone who gets you without needing to say anything. At Radical Acceptance Healing House, housemates will feel that understanding in a caring, nonjudgmental environment. There are times when we just need to let it all out and lean on someone, and other times when group sessions can help us figure out our emotions. Being around peers and counselors who have been through similar struggles helps our clients realize that they can also achieve happiness and success.
